Welcome to the Moon Township Garden Club (MTGC) website. We are a small, local club that aims to stimulate a greater knowledge and love of gardening, aid in the protection of native plants and birds, and encourage civic planting. As a community organization, members have ample ways to help and offer service to the community, such as: helping out with the garden at Robin Hill Park, making stepping stones, attending flower arranging classes, working with local youth on fairy gardens, and collaborating with our local Parks and Recreation and other nonprofits. Anyone with a love of gardening, horticulture, and/or community building will be able to find a niche they love, and make some new friends doing it!
Located west of Pittsburgh in Moon Township, PA. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit and have been a member of the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania and the National Garden Clubs, Inc. since 1941. Founded in 1921, our club has been part of Moon Township for the past 100 years. With scholarships, plantings, and garden tours our members are continually an active members of the township.
