Prospective members are welcome to join us for 3 monthly luncheon programs before becoming a member. Our monthly luncheon programs are held at 11:30 am on the 2nd Wednesday of each month March through December. Depending on the program, regular meeting are held in the manor house in Robin Hill Park. Programs for the 2019 – 2020 season featuring speakers or tours are as follows:
*March 13 – welcome back luncheon featuring plans for the year
*April 10 – Wildlife in your Garden
*May 8 – Loving Roses
*June 12– Hydrangeas Demystified
*July 10 – Keeping the summer garden strong
*August 8 – Field Trip/Tour TBA
*September 11 – Tour a historic Sewickley Heights estate garden
*October 9- – Tutorial for Artificial Greens Arrangements
*October 21 – 25 using skills learned 10/9 Artificial Greens workshop
*November – Winter birds
* late November and early December workshop days making Holiday decorative items for the very popular greens sale
December 7 is the GREENS SALE.
December 11 – Holiday Luncheon at Hyeholde Restaurant we celebrate with a luncheon. A time to anticipate winter and see our garden club friends.
Membership is open to all interested parties. Membership dues for the year are $35. Members are expected to serve on one committee and help host one monthly luncheon. Enjoying members’ special menu items and sharing recipes are all part of the meeting. Members are expected to help with several “all hands on deck” events such as our annual Greens & Things Sale at Robin Hill on the first Saturday in December and a garden tour that we host periodically.
